The title of my first retrospective show in Italy is the indoeuropean root of the Greek word physis (nature), and was chosen to illustrate the creative process at that time, a sort of visual etymology of reality. Nature, with a capital N, was the central theme of my research.
The title of my first retrospective show held in Italy – Bhu – is the indoeuropean root of the Greek word physis (nature), and was chosen to illustrate the creative process at that time, a sort of visual etymology of reality. Nature, with a capital N, was the central theme of my research. The creative process was circular, starting from the whole only to return to the whole through a process of fragmentation, a reunion of details. The work appears as a mosaic of photographic tiles, at times falling from above, at times leaning against a wall, or even extending along the ground. The exhibition occupied two floors and a special project space of My Own Gallery in Milano.
