Photographing BROOKLYN WALLS
February, 2016
Wrap yourself in the graphic and political art that splashes all the walls in my Williamsburg neighborhood. Each photograph, and each printed scarf, embodies an irreplaceable element of this bustling part of New York: the bright graffiti, the graphic self expression, and the individuality that represents Brooklyn! Recording this ephemeral art on film and on silk, we are preserving a history of the neighborhood. Rozi Uhl wears a limited edition Brooklyn Walls silk scarf and is standing in front of a Talking Wall wall hanging. Photos by Fernando Paz.
