Art and fashion… in collaboration with Eunhwa Kim, Paris
Two artists – one from Korea and one from Italy – cross paths in Paris. Their ateliers happen to be in the same neighborhood. As neighbors they have seen and admired each other’s work. They share a strong aesthetic affinity and an adventurous spirit. Simo’s wardrobe contains many of Eunwha’s designs; and Eunwha has been intrigued by Simo’s photographic compositions on fabric. For this ongoing collaboration, Simo created the printed fabric, while Eunwha provided the garment’s design as well as her fashion craftsmanship. The result is an original experiment – a unique, thematically modular silk crêpe shirt for all seasons, produced by hand in limited edition. The shirts are priced at 360 euros and are available at EUNHWA’s boutiques, 19 rue Claude Bernard 75005 Paris, 01 42 50 69 20, et 19 rue Dauphine 75006 Paris.
