This composition is the result of a collaboration with fashion designer Eunhwa Kim, for an exhibition on ancient Korean cultural artifacts. Korean potters would benefit from the ideas and techniques of their Chinese counterparts and go on to produce their own highly sought-after works, including grey stoneware, celadons or greenware, buncheong ware and white porcelain. Korean pottery decoration typically employs plants, flowers, and wildlife, and reflects the country’s religious heritage.
