At first glance Paris has an urban palette mostly made up of muted white and beige and grey. However, a closer look reveals the brightest colors gracing the doors of many Parisian buildings. I called this design Mur Mur, a play on the French word for “wall” which, when repeated, becomes “murmur”, referencing the subtle sound. The sequential juxtaposition of grey wall and colorful door segments pays homage to the subtle human landscape of the city.
