Accumulating the perspectives of different façades and juxtaposing them in alternate patterns reveals the essence of a city. This optical effect facilitates abstraction; rather than becoming aware of a particular building, you feel the city’s presence. Through this work I discovered the color palette of New York – a surprising miscellany of reds, oranges, and pinks.
